The purpose of the Department of Human Resources is to carry out the personnel functions of the School District. The Department is responsible for staff recruitment, assignment, implementation of negotiated agreements and staff evaluation. The School District is a labor-intensive organization. Personnel and benefits costs account for approximately 84 percent of the District's budget. It is the responsibility of Human Resources to employ and maintain a high quality professional and classified workforce.
